Privacy Policy

Last updated October 13, 2026. Steady House is operated by Virginia State Home Inspections LLC, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

What we collect

Steady House runs in your browser. We do not require an account, and the information you type into the app (ZIP code, home details, filters) is processed on your device and is not sent to us.

The house profile and home details you enter stay in this browser's storage on your device (localStorage key sh_home_v1, shared with Energy Saver). They are not uploaded and remain until you clear site data or browser storage.

If you buy an unlock, the purchase is handled by Gumroad, which collects your name, email and payment details under Gumroad's privacy policy. Gumroad tells us your email and order details so we can provide the product and support. We never see your full card number. When you enter a license key, your browser sends it to Gumroad's license API to check it, and the key is then saved in your browser's local storage so you stay unlocked. Clearing site data removes it.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP address and request logs to deliver and secure the site (Cloudflare privacy policy). We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.

Email

If you contact us or buy from us, we use your email only to answer you and support your purchase. We will not add you to marketing email without your permission, and any marketing email will include an unsubscribe link.

Your choices

Email info@vastatehomeinspections.com to ask what we hold about you or to have it deleted. Children: the service is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We will post updates here with a new date.
